Description

IBT Certificate in Event Planning (Level 3) offers learners in-depth knowledge and skills regarding the fundamental principles of event planning, investigating what is absolutely included in the planning of an event and what role is played by the planner in the process of event planning. This qualification involving with six intensive units covers the different types of events that require professional planning, the four phases included in the event planning, development of event themes, budget estimation for events, health and safety considerations in event planning and marketing of events. Through this qualification, learners are expected to develop an understanding of the principles and procedures involved planning events at an operational level in a business.

Who is this course for?

  • The learner needs to have a minimum age of 16 years and above
  • Level 2 qualification in event management or related vocational area.
  • Standard Literacy and Numeracy along with general education equivalent to four GCSEs of grades A+ to C.
  • Related work experience or level 2 qualifications
  • A score of 5.5 or above has to be scored for the IELTS examination for international students. As an alternative, learners can take an English test from the IBT approved centers.
